Directions

1.

2.
Flavor Explosion
Using the same pan that you cooked the chicken in, add some minced garlic and the juice of a fresh lemon, then pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Let everything simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to melt together and the sauce to thicken up.
Finally, add the uncooked gnocchi and parmesan to the pan, stir everything together until the gnocchi is fully coated in the creamy lemon sauce, and let it cook for a few more minutes until the gnocchi is cooked through. You can top it off with some extra freshly grated parmesan cheese.

Notes
For a healthier option, you can use whole wheat gnocchi instead of regular gnocchi.
If you prefer a spicier dish, you can add some red pepper flakes to the seasoning mix.
You can substitute the chicken broth for vegetable broth for a vegetarian option and skip the chicken.
If you want to add more veggies to this dish, you can add some sautéed mushrooms or chopped sun-dried tomatoes, kale or spinach.

First off great recipe tastes amazing!, One thing I might add for all the other future recipes is maybe temperatures on the stove for the cooking!

Thank you so much! 🙂 Stove temperatures often vary, but thanks for the great reminder. I will definitely try to put at least information in recipes about whether it should be cooked on low/medium/high heat.

    Hello Anna,

Thank you for this amazing dish. We have already tried it, and it was good, but… If u dont have fresh lemons – how many teaspoons/tablespoons lemonjuice would you reccmomend to put in the sauce?

    • Anna

Hi! 🙂 I am happy you liked the recipe! If you go for a lemonjuice, I would try about 2 tbsp. It should be OK 🙂

Can I substitute chicken breast for thighs?

My in-laws loved the gnocchi when I host them for dinner. My partner asks this for lunch at least once a week and it’s super easy to cook. So tasty 😋
