Who doesn’t like a Rice Krispie treat? We probably all grew up eating them and these chocolate ganache Rice Krispies are an interesting twist on the classic we all know. Trust me, chocolate takes that basic recipe to a whole other level!

Directions

Mix the Rice Krispies
First, put your rice krispies, protein and peanut butter powder in a large bowl and mix. Then add the creamy peanut butter, maple syrup, and milk and gently combine together.
Melt the chocolate in a water bath and add to the remaining ingredients. Once everything is nicely combined, pour the mixture into a baking tin (20x20cm) and place in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Prepare the Ganache
While the base is chilling in the freezer, make the chocolate ganache. Chop the chocolate finely and place in a bowl. Heat the cream in a saucepan and then pour the hot cream into the bowl with the chocolate. Stirring constantly, the chocolate will melt in the cream and form a compact mixture. This is then poured over the rice krispies base and placed in the fridge for at least 2 hours to set. Enjoy!
