Ginger Sesame Crusted Salmon
Just roll your salmon in sesame seeds! You’ll be amazed how well the sesame sticks and love how crispy this Ginger Sesame Crusted Salmon is. Serve it over a bowl of steamed rice with a fresh avocado salad and finish with a creamy spicy mayo.

4 Salmon steaks *skinless | |

2 medium avocados - diced | |
1medium cucumber - diced | |
100 grams cherry tomatoes - halved | |
juice of 1 lime | |

Directions

Prepare the salad
Combine all ingredients for the salad in a medium bowl together, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt. Set aside.

Make the salmon
Preheat oven to 200°C. Place the sesame seeds in a shallow bowl. Coat each salmon steak in seeds a place on prepared baking sheet (I recommend to drizzle the baking sheet with olive oil to prevent salmon from sticking).
Bake in the oven 10-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked as you like it.
While the salmon is baking, mix the soy sauce, honey, ginger and chilli in a small bowl and set aside.

Ready to serve
Always put a portion of rice in the bowl, then put a portion of salad and place the salmon steak on top. Pour the prepared sauce over the salmon and if you like, you can finish it with chilli mayo. Enjoy!
